Ingredients

  • 6 oz turmeric root
  • 6 oz ginger root
  • 6 lemons juiced
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper ground
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

Instructions

  • Soak the ginger and turmeric in a bowl of 50/50 white vinegar and water for 2 minutes. Then fully rinse under water while rubbing off any debris. This also helps wash away any residues or pesticides. Use organic whenever possible!
  • Chop the roots of ginger and turmeric. (No need to peel). Prepare over a cookie sheet or other protective barrier so your counters do not get stained.
  • Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
  • Strain the mixture, and pour the liquid into a 2 quart or larger pitcher. Add filtered water to fill 2 quart jars.
  • Store up to 30 days in the fridge, in jar with an airtight lid. Pour a shot every morning.

Notes

If you already own a juicer, feel free to use that after blending instead of small batchess of the pulp through the small strainer. This will increase you processing time.
